Prompt Response: My dad is someone who inspires me for many reasons. First off, he is an amazing dad. My dad always defends me and tries to make me happy no matter what. Without my dad I would not have a support system from my parents. He inspires me to be kind and to never be one sided. Second, My dad gave up and recovered from alcohol to make me have a better life. He was an alcoholic and when I was coming into the picture he decided to quit. It shows that if you want to do something you can put your mind to it. Lastly, my dad tries to demonstrate a happy lifestyle and healthy lifestyle. He has done many Iron mans and he is a vegan. His diet used to not be good but for years now he has been trying to reverse it. 

Summary: In class we read The Color Purple and answered six questions.

Reflection: I am enjoying this read, usually I hate reading but this book is pretty interesting and surreal.
