Prompt: During brainstorming, one idea usually stands out. What is the most interesting or strongest idea you came up with for your essay, and what made you choose it over the others

Prompt Response: I thought that my idea about her isolation not being a bad thing is what made mine really good. I think people will write about how it was not good thing. But I honestly think in order to find yourself again, you have to be alone and realize that all you have at the end of the day is yourself. When people rely on others to be happy, then you can never truly be happy. Because things will happen and people will sometimes leave.

Summary:I enjoyed today's class and I think the clusters really help me to separate my thoughts and get really put together.

Reflection: I just checked and theres only 18 school days till spring break, so I am very happy.

My friend was cheating every weekend and her boyfriend knew but had no proof. I really liked my friend but it got to the point where I felt bad for her boyfriend. I think that if she had cheated once but wanted to change I would have never told, but It was an ongoing situation. Summary: In class we read more but I had to leave early. Prompt: Describe a time when someone’s words had a lasting impact on you.  Prompt Response:  When I was at my family's friends house I was playing hide and seek with my two friends. During this time their dad was around a lot and did not live in Vegas at this time. A few years later his wife divorced him and now he lives in Vegas. But, one day my friends and I were all hanging out and he came down. When I was younger my ears were more out and bigger. He said that my ears made me look like a monkey. And then my friends decided it was funny and started saying it too. I think that a father should not be making jokes about his daughters friends, but he did anyways. Now, since then I always want to cover my ears and not make them noticeable. I have realized that I have grown and they are not as out and as big, but I still feel like that little kid. What do you know about your birth experience?

Response: I do not know a lot of my birth since I was adopted, but I know some things. First I was born in Jacksonville Florida when my birth mom was 16 years old. I do not know if she has had any issues but I know I was delivered safely.  Summary: I will ask her soon how I was delivered. Reflection: I really like reading poems and I think they are interesting to dive deep into.
